JD Clair: To some, a Mid-Western suburbanite sounds like a strange type of space alien. As if the long rows of homes and four-door sedans were technical creations of some advanced hive society from beyond the edge of the atmosphere. Yet, it is at the boundaries of two worlds, between cities and wilderness, that JD and his three monstrous children reside.
